Regarding the distribution of laptops, Maryam Nawaz Sharif has introduced information according to which laptops are being provided to the students soon and now a date has been set for this, according to which in the first phase, 7,000 laptops will be provided to the eligible students and they will be provided in Lahore from April 1st and then the distribution of laptops will be continued in all the remaining districts through universities and colleges.

During this process, the individual’s National Identity Card is first checked, followed by fingerprints, facial recognition or iris scanning. This information is matched with the NADRA database to verify that the applicant is indeed the person who applied for the laptop. If the biometric data is successfully verified, the next step is to register the laptop and verify the details After verification, the individual is provided with a receipt that records the date and location of the laptop handover.
Biometric verification is again done at the time of handing over the laptop to ensure that only the rightful and deserving person is given the laptop. Who is Eligible In Phase 1 Distribution

In this regard, it has been clarified that those MBBS and BDS students whose merit is as per the required criteria have been included in Phase 1. Similarly, other students who have secured 75% or more marks are also part of this phase. Moreover, all the students whose marks are 74.96% or more.
And those who have completed biometric verification, laptops will be provided to them. Students whose marks are between 65% to 74.95% will be included in the second phase i.e. Phase 2. Whereas in case of marks less than 65% or wrong verification, the student will be declared ineligible from this scheme.
